US open: Wall Street lower after slightly mixed data

LONDON (ShareCast) – (ShareCast News) – Wall Street was struggling following the release of slightly mixed readings on US industrial production and homebuilding. As of 16:38 BST the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 61.98 points or 0.34% lower to 17,648.11, alongside a fall of 5.57 points or 0.27% in the S&P 500 and a 9.65 point or 0.21% loss for the Nasdaq Composite.
