WASHINGTON, July 28 (Reuters) – Ford Motor Co saidFriday it will pay to repair police versions of its FordExplorer SUVs to correct possible carbon monoxide leaks that maybe linked to crashes and injuries after U.S. regulatorsescalated an investigation into 1.33 million vehicles.
