UPDATE 1-CME to offer repo-backed futures and options

July 26 (Reuters) – The CME Group said on Wednesdaythat it will develop futures and options based on the repurchaseagreement market, after a bank committee in June selected abenchmark repo rate to be used as an alternative to Libor inderivatives transactions.
