Super Micro, Deckers to join S&P 500, replacing Whirlpool, Zions Bancorp

Data-server provider Super Micro Computer Inc. and footwear maker Deckers Outdoor Corp. will join the S&P 500 SPXstock index later this month, replacing Whirlpool Corp. and Zions Bancorporation, S&P Dow Jones Indices said Friday.Shares of both Super Micro SMCI, +4.54%and Deckers DECK, +0.86%rose after hours on Friday. Super Micro’s stock jumped 8.9%, while Deckers was up 2.2%. Whirlpool WHR, -0.54%and Zions ZION, -1.67%will replace those two companies on the S&P MidCap 400 MID.
