Strong Lloyds, RSA earnings give FTSE a lift
By Alistair SmoutLONDON (Reuters) – The FTSE 100 jumped at the open on Thursday, helping by surges in bank Lloyds and insurer RSA after strong full-year results. The FTSE 100 <.FTSE> rose 1.7 percent to 5,967.02 in early deals, having dropped nearly 3 percent in the previous two sessions.
