Stellar jobs data helps Wall Street recoup Brexit losses

The economy added 287,000 jobs in the public and private sectors in June, compared with the 175,000 expected by economists. The robust numbers confirm that the May jobs data, which was revised to 11,000 from 38,000, was an aberration and not indicative of weakness in the labor market. The Brexit vote set off a global two-day selloff that dragged the three major indexes to their lowest in 10 months in June.
