NYPD Officer Faces Murder Charges For Killing Mentally Ill Woman In The Bronx

NYPD Sgt. Hugh Barry pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide in shooting of a black person during his court hearing. He shot a mentally ill woman named Deborah Danner in October 2016.
