John Oliver calls on the internet to save itself by flooding the FCC with comments
As the new FCC Chairman Ajit Pai plans to take a "weed whacker" to net neutrality regulations, John Oliver asked internet commenters everywhere for their help on Sunday. To give users an easy way to voice their displeasure of Pai's plan to repeal the classification of the internet as a common carrier, he's taken out the domain name gofccyourself.com, which is a direct link to the site to send comments. So many comments flooded in that, by Sunday, it appeared that the site was already overloaded.
