Jimmy Breslin, chronicler of wise guys and underdogs, dies

NEW YORK (AP) — Author-columnist Jimmy Breslin, the Pulitzer Prize-winning chronicler of wise guys and underdogs who became the brash embodiment of the old-time, street smart New Yorker, died Sunday. He was 88.
