Hundreds outside courthouse as abduction suspect has hearing

CHICAGO (AP) — Hundreds of people gathered outside a federal courthouse Monday as the suspect in the kidnapping of a Chinese scholar at the University of Illinois made his first appearance since being arrested last week.
