European stocks rebound awaiting Fed
The announcement came hours before the US Federal Reserve is due to make its first monetary policy announcements of 2017. By 1440 GMT, Frankfurt and Paris had extended early gains to post rises of over 1.5 percent, while London and Wall Street were up by around 0.5 percent. Indices had fallen Tuesday as US President Donald Trump's flurry of executive orders fuelled worries about the outlook for the global economy.
