Deutsche stymied by bond slip and fines

Embattled German banking giant Deutsche is losing out to Wall Street in the battle for bond business, it emerged today. Deutsche also increased its reserves for litigation by €1.7 billion (£1.5 billion) to €7.6 billion. The supposed cash-cow bond-trading arm saw revenues up 11%, thanks to the Trump Bump, a surge in client interest in foreign exchange and interest rate deals.
