Democrat loses Omaha race that was caught in abortion debate

OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) — Democrat Heath Mello lost his race for Omaha mayor Tuesday in a setback for supporters who argued that the Democratic National Committee and abortion rights groups were wrong to attack the anti-abortion former state senator.
