Feds Give $219 million for Drought Recovery in Western Canada
The federal government has allocated $219 million through the AgriRecovery Framework to support Western Canadian farmers who have been impacted by drought conditions and wildfires, an Oct. 20 news release said.The release noted that farmers in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan have faced a number of challenges this growing season, including drought and wildfires.
