Utah’s largest school district just welcomed students back for the final time. Here’s how it will soon split into 3.

After 28 years with Alpine School District, Principal David Turner welcomed students back to Centennial Elementary on Wednesday with a deep sense of gratitude.
“There are a lot of memories that I have of my career and Alpine,” Turner said. “It has been a marvelous ride.”
The morning marked Alpine School District’s final first day of school before the entire district dissolves.
