The True Nature of Liberty

RUSH: Jefferson was really concerned about making sure that this freedom and liberty maintained even to the point of throwing the government over now and then if necessary.  He called it the tree of liberty.  Sometimes blood has to be shed.  The point is Jefferson thought about all this a lot, and he said, among other things, God, who gave us life, gave us liberty.
