Shutterfly Surprises Amazing High School Teacher!

Today, Ellen invited Michael Scruggs to the show to share his story. Michael is a high school Social Studies teacher at W.E.B. Du Bois Charter School in Memphis. Over the years, Michael has started each class with a motivational mantra that he says aloud with his students. When Michael is off duty, he hosts multiple events in several communities and leads a mentoring program for past students in which he focuses on maintaining relationships with teens in the inner city, and volunteering.
