Sharks return home, facing 2-0 deficit to Penguins
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — The San Jose Sharks have returned to their home ice, hopeful the shift in venue will help spark a climb back into the Stanley Cup Finals with Pittsburgh.
After losing the first two games to the Penguins by one-goal margins despite being outplayed through much of the action and outshot 71-48, the Sharks are back at the comfort of the SAP Center. They’re 7-2 there during the playoffs this year.
