Judge: Kidnapping suspect can’t question girl before trial

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A man prosecutors accuse of kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and raping her repeatedly during her nine months of captivity cannot question her before his trial, a judge has ruled.
Lawyers for 35-year-old Nathaniel Kibby wanted to question the girl about exposure to media coverage and the amount of freedom she was given to move about his trailer in Gorham, where prosecutors say he used a stun gun, zip ties and a shock collar to control her.
