US Senate opens showdown with Obama over Iran sanctions

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senators are pushing to have a say about the ongoing international negotiations aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons, setting up another clash between the Republican-run Congress and President Barack Obama.
