US Accidentally Kills Two Al Qaeda Hostages

The White House has said that an American and Italian hostage were accidentally killed in a US counter-terrorism operation on the Pakistan-Afghan border. The White House said that two other Americans - both al Qaeda members - were killed in US raids in the same region. One of them, Ahmed Farouq, died in the same operation that resulted in the deaths of Dr Weinstein and Mr Lo Porto, said the White House.
