Uber announces API partnerships to help drivers file their taxes

Uber has announced a handful of API partnerships designed to help drivers file their taxes.
The ride-hailing giant first announced its Driver API (application programming interface) in October, to serve as a way for developers to create useful services for Uber drivers by connecting to third-party apps. This was in addition to the existing developer platform offered for rider-focused services since 2014.
