If you reduce the notion of a boat to its simplest purpose, it is a vehicle designed to keep you from getting wet. 
Which is why Bugatti's new yacht, which comes with a jacuzzi and a fire pit, makes so little sense — and yet, I bet someone out there will be more than happy to dish out a lot of money for it.
