The Future Group raises $20 million to blend real-world video with virtual worlds

The Future Group has raised $20 million for its technology that blends real-world video with virtual worlds in an attempt to immerse people inside something like an interactive game show.
The Oslo, Norway-based company came out of stealth last year and it is now working on a major project with a team of more than 100 people. Those partners are unnamed so far, but the Future Group and its first partner plan to make an announcement sometime in 2017, said Future Group cofounder Jens Pette
