Tesla recalls 1.8 million cars over hood issue

Tesla has issued a recall for 1.8 million cars in the United States, one of the largest recalls in the company's history. The issue has to do with the cars' software failing to detect an unlatched hood, Reuters reported on Tuesday. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), an unlatched hood can "fully open and obstruct the driver's view and increasing the risk of a crash."
