It hasn't been the most pleasant year for those behind the reboot of Japanese anime classic, Ghost In The Shell.
The upcoming film's been dogged by criticisms of whitewashing ever since it was announced Scarlett Johansson would play the lead role of Major Motoko Kusanagi — a clearly very Japanese character.
