Samsung is reportedly telling S7 owners their phones are safe because the Galaxy is confusing

Amid its full-scale recall of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is reportedly reminding owners of other devices with "7" in the name that their phones are still safe to use. A staff member for tech blog TechnoBuffalo reports receiving a push notification on a Galaxy S7, apparently from Samsung, that specifies that the phone "is not an affected device" and is not subject to recall. It's not yet clear whether Galaxy S7 Edge owners are also receiving these messages, nor whether owners of older Samsun
