Netflix’s growth fuels another price increase

Netflix had a really good year, so your year is about to get a bit worse.The streaming service saw a jump in subscribers to 19 million in the last quarter of 2024, putting it at 302 million global subscribers — more than any other streaming service in the industry. According to CNN, a large part of that jump is due to its successfully hosting the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul boxing match in November, an event that became the most-streamed sporting event ever.
