Microsoft launches Phi-3 Mini, a tiny AI model that packs a punch

Microsoft released Phi-3 Mini, a new version of its lightweight AI model designed for specific tasks. According to the research paper published earlier this week, Phi-3 Mini has 3.8 billion parameters which is significantly less than other models like OpenAI's GPT-4, making it small enough to be deployed on a smartphone.
