Maria 0-1: Helsinki is turning an abandoned hospital into a massive startup campus
Finland’s tech scene is getting yet another boost, thanks to plans by the city of Helsinki to convert a 130-year-old hospital into a gigantic startupup campus, dubbed Maria 0-1.
The goal is to eventually create a sprawling center with 32,000 square meters of space for startup-related activities. That’s a long-term goal, but if reached, it would place Maria 0-1 just short of the 34,000 square meters of space at Paris’ Station F, set to open in April.
