Malaysia Airlines will be first to use new satellite-based airplane tracking system
Three years ago, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared from radar somewhere above the Indian Ocean with 239 people on board. Today, the airline announced it is the first to sign up to a new service that will track its airplanes anywhere in the world using orbiting satellites.
