Lyft will now let you choose your own pronouns in the app

Lyft updated its app to allow both drivers and passengers to select from a list of pronouns they want during the ride. The company framed the decision as part of a broader push for inclusivity, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community.Previously Lyft only offered two choices of pronouns, male and female. With the update, riders and drivers can select from a list of pronouns that include:

She/Her/Hers
He/Him/His
