The PlayStation 4 hasn't really taken Japan by storm yet, but you can't really judge a PlayStation's performance until a new Final Fantasy comes out for it. Final Fantasy XV just so happens to be coming later this year, and Sony just announced a special edition PlayStation 4 — the new slimmer version — to tie into the game's release.
