EU antitrust regulator eyeing Amazon’s use of merchant data

The European Union’scompetition commission is looking into how Amazon uses data from retailers selling via its ecommerce marketplace, Reuters reports.
Competition commissioner Margrethe Vestagerrevealed the action today during a press conference. “We are gathering information on the issue and we have sent quite a number of questionnaires to market participants in order to understand this issue in full,” she said.
