Dramatic video shows a kitten being rescued from a 12-story ledge

A POV camera attached to a rescue rod shows the nail-biting rescue of a kitten stranded on a ledge 12 floors above the ground. 
The clip, which was shared to the Facebook page SPCA Singapore, starts with a rescue rod being lowered outside of a window. A small kitten is trapped on a ledge only inches wide, and the rescuer attempts to restrain the cat using the rod's cord. Rescue workers can be seen on the ground holding open a blanket in case the cat jumps or falls.
