Destiny 2 boasts the biggest console game launch week of the year

Destiny 2 is a big hit. Bungie revealed today that its online shooter, which launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, has had the biggest console game launch week of the year. And the PC version is still coming on October 24.
Bungie also noted that Destiny 2 surpassed its predecessor’s records for launch week digital sales and engagement. Fans and critics (including us) have been impressed with the sequel’s improved story, structure, and mechanics.
