Bitmovin scores $30M Series B for ‘next-gen’ online video software

Bitmovin, the online video software and infrastructure company founded by two of the creators of theMPEG-DASH video streaming standard, has raised $30 million in Series B funding. The round is led by Highland Europe, with participation from existing investors Atomico, Constantia New Business, Dawn Capital, and Y Combinator.
