Apple pulls iOS 13.2 update for HomePods after bricking devices

When iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 start rolling out this week, the HomePod also received a software update. It enables features such as Siri's ability to identify different users and the seamless Handoff between an iPhone and the HomePod. Just one problem: the software update is also bricking some HomePod devices.
As MacRumors reports, software update downloads and installs as expected. However, when it tries to restart, Apple's HomePod doesn't finish the process and thus can't complete any actions.
