ANALYSIS: Amazon sent Heartland cities scrambling on Thursday morning with the announcement that it is looking to secure a location for what it calls HQ2 — a second office in North America that the company claims will be “fully equal” to its Seattle headquarters, which employs more than 25,000 people.
