A jury in New Mexico has found Meta liable for compromising the safety of children on its platforms, and ordered the Instagram and Facebook owner to pay $375 million in damages. The company is vowing to appeal the verdict while another jury in Los Angeles weighs whether Meta and YouTube deliberately made their platforms addictive to kids.
