Meta files lawsuit to stop 'nudify' app promotion on platform

In an interview with NBC News’ Savannah Sellers, Meta’s global head of safety discusses the new lawsuit being filed against Joy Timeline HK Limited – a company that markets nudify apps. NBC News reached out to Joy Timeline for comment and has not heard back. Meta says in addition to the lawsuit it is also developing advanced technology that can help detect more bad actors.
