Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin stepping down as Alphabet executives

Sundar Pichai, the current CEO of Google, will take over as CEO of Alphabet in addition to his current role, as Larry Page and Sergey Brin relinquish their executive roles at Google's parent company.
