Amazon Begins Refunding Customers From $2.5B FTC Settlement

Amazon has started issuing payments to eligible Prime members as part of a $2.5 billion settlement with the Federal Trade Commission. Amazon has agreed to the payout to resolve a 2023 lawsuit in which the company is accused of misleading customers into enrolling in Prime and making it difficult for them to cancel their membership.
