Idaho sees recent increase in reported illnesses associated with raw milk

Public health officials in Idaho are investigating two outbreaks of foodborne illnesses traced to unpasteurized, raw milk.At least 23 cases of Campylobacter infections have been recorded since Aug. 1. And, there have been three cases of E. coli infections, according to a Nov. 25 statement from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. At least six of the patients infected with Campylobacter have been children younger than 12. The department did not report on the ages of the E. coli patients.&n
