William Eugene "Gene" Cameron, 71, of Magazine passed from this life on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at his home in Magazine. He was born Aug. 6, 1944, in Elaine to John Daniel and Nora (Milligan) Cameron. Gene was a farmer and worked as a consultant in the oil field. He was a member of the Glendale Baptist Church near Booneville and formally served as a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Magazine. He was a member of the Beef Master Association.
