Waymon Nelms

Waymon C. Nelms, 99, of Booneville died Jan. 17, 2016. He was born March 21, 1916, in Waveland, the son of David S. and Millie Ann (Southard) Nelms. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Waymon served for 50 years as a member of the First Assembly of God in Booneville and was a devout Christian who loved talking about Christ. A self- employed carpenter, Waymon built many of the houses in and around Booneville. He was known and loved by many and will be truly missed.
