BLOOMINGTON — Walter Gerald Nelson, 87, of Bloomington, distinguished attorney, enthusiastic but inexpert golfer and outstanding citizen of the world, died Friday (Jan. 6, 2017) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, surrounded by his family.
