Walter Mitchell

Walter O. Mitchell, known as "Spud" to family and friends, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, in Fayetteville. Spud was born March 8, 1941, in Prairie Grove to Olen and Clara Pool Mitchell. He grew up in West Fayetteville and graduated from Farmington High School. He attended Oklahoma State Tech. Spud was married to Janet Davis Mitchell for 51 years, was the parent of one son, Bradley Davis Mitchell and one daughter, Kristen Leigh Mitchell.
