Vivian Slate

Vivian Pearl Slate, 96, of Mansfield entered God’s presence Monday, Dec. 28, 2015. She was born April 6, 1919, a twin and one of 10 children. Vivian was a devoted member of Mansfield Church of the Nazarene. She was a faithful Christian, wife, mother, daughter and sister. With a servant’s heart, she loved opening her home to family and guests, gathering in the kitchen cooking or sitting at the table for coffee and dessert or a game of Scrabble. She will be missed by all who knew her.
