Viada Woods

Viada Woods, surrounded by family members, went peacefully to be with her lord and savior Feb. 5, 2016. She was born in Greenwood on Oct. 17, 1920, to John and Lettie Young. They moved to Hartford when she was young. She graduated from Hartford High School and was homecoming queen that year. Viada met the love of her life New Year’s Eve, 1936, and they were married three years later May 11, 1940.
